Literature Search
Conduct a literature search to locateresearch articles focused on a practiceproblem of interest. This literaturesearch should include both quantitativeand qualitative peer research articlesto support your practice problem orissue of interest in 350-750 words. Identify six peer research articleswhich will be utilized through thenext 5 weeks as reference sources.
Create a reference list in which the six articles are listed. Beneatheach reference include the article’s abstract. The completed assignmentshould have a title page and areference list with abstracts.

Use a library database such as CINAHL
Complete for your search.
Using the advanced search page checkthe box beside “Research Article” inthe “Limit Your Results” section.
When setting up the search you cantype your topic in the top box, thenadd quantitative or qualitative as asearch term in one of the lower boxes.
Research articles often are describedas qualitative or quantitative.
To narrow/broaden your search, removethe words qualitative and quantitativeand include words that arrow orbroaden your main topic. For example:
Diabetes and pediatric and dialysis.
To determine what research designwas used, review the abstract and the methods section of the article. The
author will provide a description ofdata collection using qualitative orquantitative methods.
Prepare this assignment according tothe APA guidelines found in the APAStyle Guide, located in the Student
Success Center. An abstract is notrequired.
